Design for Living: Carolina Irving & Daughters Tabletop Collection

The holidays are fast approaching and I’ve been thinking about gifts and also adding some new pieces to my usual Thanksgiving and Christmas dining table settings. Then while reading the Katie Considers blog I came across Carolina Irving & Daughters irresistible tabletop collection.  Known for her “impressionistic” patterned textiles Carolina has launched this first collection with her daughters Olympia and Ariadne, an editor with Cabana.  These pieces certainly have the signature exclusive hand-made, globe-trotting, curated sensibility that appears within the pages of the sumptuously illustrated Cabana biannual magazine.

Carolina Irving & Daughters have produced a finely edited collection that includes hand-crafted plates, glassware, linens and placemats.  Everything’s available as a pop up store at KRB in New York, December 4 - 8 and any one of these items to be sure would be a much appreciated gift.  The other option is to treat yourself to a piece or two to decorate your own holiday dining table. The artisanship, charming patterns and warm color palette are definitely speaking to me this holiday season.
