Timeless Style - Call Me Gaby in Miami Beach

Bringing you a blast of Summer from down South, last weekend I had lunch at the absolutely charming Call Me Gaby restaurant in Miami Beach. We passed it during the holidays and struck by the inviting outdoor lounge seating, took a quick look-see promising to return.

Call Me Gaby transported me directly to one of those idyllic local restaurants you come across while driving along Italy's Amalfi Coast. With its rustic simplicity, lively mix of patterned pillows, white washed walls and mustard yellow interiors, how could it not draw you in?  There were even classic lace curtains at the windows, to complete the Mediterranean sensibility.

The menu consists of an uncomplicated, but well executed selection of artisanal salads, pasta and pizza dishes.  They're a bit light on protein options, but luckily for us that day their special was an amazingly good rib-eye steak, which disappeared so fast I didn't have a chance to photograph it!
