I was in Bergdorf's shoe department yesterday looking for a pair of boots. As usual it's by far the busiest department in the store with a sea of scattered boxes and women everywhere purchasing multiple pairs of shoes and boots at a steady clip.
I've been on the hunt for the perfect pair of fair weather boots for awhile and have to say Bergdorf's has the best selection of high fashion options I've seen. So of course I was immediately drawn to all the more glammy high-heel numbers, fantasizing about wearing the exotic designs. I know full well I'll never wear them and if I do it will most likely be just once. My real-life self is more low-key, less bells & whistles, but I can dream.
The sale begins in the next week or so, but whether you're in the market for a funky new pair of boots or not, it's still fun to see what's out there! If I were throwing caution to the wind, here's a selection of what would be on my to buy list.

Gucci Fosca crystal trim - yep those are real crystals! Wildly impractical and oh-so decadent...love them!
Gucci New Jordan flat - these are pre-sell and I'm definitely considering them which will come as a surprise to no-one
Aquazzura hiking boot - don't try to hike too far!
Alexander McQueen embroidered lace-up completely impractical but gorgeous - the embroidery is a work of art
Gucci Sylvie web strap high heel - Timeless elegant lines
MiuMiu pearly suede block heel chelsea boot - thought this was an interesting take on the Chelsea boot which never goes out of style
